Why does everyone like flcl

Plus, I actually found it quite relatable, despite its sheer madness. But nobody is forced to like or rewatch anything. That's important to note. I am Hellsoldier, first and foremost. Because apparently soundtrack and animation are all dat matter. Also complex penis jokes. All credit goes to Sacred. It really pushed the limits on technology at the time.

Mostly about the themes whih talks about the sttruggles of growing up, the loneliness and the music anyways. Because it's cooly cooly cool. Yeah idkw either, the ending sucks so hard like kim sucking kanye's big black fishstick. Moved and Cleaned: Keep the baits and spam to yourselves people. Please learn about cel animation and its technical process. Learn how special effects and backlighting were done without computers. This is just something that I thought but maybe, just maybe, it may have to do with your personality type and also level of education.

If you're the practical type and someone might have told you that "you have no eye for art", maybe this is not your piece of cake? If you for example struggle with literature, reading into symbols and people, it may be hard for you to get the underlying messages. And that's totally fine. I'd suggest not to re-watch if you don't want to. I wouldn't waste my time for something I didn't like, even if Elvis would raise from his grave and told me to watch it. Ok I don't know really, who knows if I would be so shocked that I'd actually go and watch whatever it was.

I think that if one does not get FLCL at all when they are watching it the first time, nor like it, there is no meaning to watch it again. But if you feel like there's something that interests you, then do watch it again, it might help. If you like it a little the first time, you might just like it some more on the second time!

But if you don't like it all, I don't think there's gonna be anything for you there on the second time either. You're already forcing it. Anyways I hope I didn't sound like too much of an asshole. It's just horrible. End of story. There are things you never understand if you haven't met "requirements", mostly as your personal history and experiences. Of course you can hate something while understanding what it's about, but if you are hating it for being not able to comprehend, that's just pathetic ranting.

Furi Cooly Fooly Kuri. I didn't get anything the first time either, though I did find it enjoyable, the second time it was like watching a completely different anime.

You need the key to see beyond the door otherwise it's just a fun looking piece of wood. For me it is also about how it's ok to feel stupid. With Evangelion there was this feeling that you had better be smart to understand it, or even just to work on it.

So guys, some site says theres romance in this. Is that true? Grudge said: dixie89 said: So guys, some site says theres romance in this. I guess you mean the plot is so unclear, its not really obvious where its headed. Almost every dialog in FLCL is very ambiguous because it needs to be put in the context of the main theme of the show, which is a coming of age story.

After finishing the series and getting the plot out of the way, you can watch the show again and just pick up the finer things. It has a really cool climax and the ending doesn't suck. Here, have some Haruko cosplay. When you get to my level, you can write serious stories about pandas being raped by ronald mcdonald, not that I would be interested in writing about that, that's just fucking creepy!

Post by Defectron » Fri Apr 16, pm Yeah this is my favorite series, don't really get why you'd think it was slow as in more ways then one imo its one of the most fast paced anime out there.

It's a fun ride through and through, but only if you don't preoccupy yourself with trying to search for a greater plot told in a coherent narrative. The randomness is just an exciting way to coat a rather basic story young boy, coming of age, life throws weird, unpleasant things at him, he can't escape them and a neat outlet for the animators to show off their know-how.

It's rather enojoyable, if one tries to absorb it rather then try and be absorbed by it. On the other hand, unlike others, i found Haruko to be sufficiently "cool" for her role, but i certainly didn't feel floored by her. Oz wrote: As for the story's point, it makes a whole lot more sense when you interpret Haruko abstractly as Naota's sexual awareness. Inside of a dog, it is too dark to read.

Post by Heromaster » Fri Apr 16, pm I find the wording of the topic title to be mildly annoying. Post by Twin Drive Sigma Aquarion » Fri Apr 16, pm First half I found kind of boring, second half was really entertaining, and that is pretty much my thoughts on it. Also, it produced the most LOLZ from me.

Also, it has one of the best dubs made. Another also, but it also has a kickass soundtrack.
